Description
Established in the 14th century between the Krishna and Tungabhadra rivers, the Vijay a nagara Empire emerged as a bulwark for Hindu culture against the rapid expansion of Muslim rule. Inspired by the vision of Sage Madhav Vidyaranya, the brothers Harihar and Bukka founded the empire, which flourished through the wealth of merchants and the skill of artisans. For three centuries, it resisted five Southern Sultanates, preserving Hindu traditions. The text suggests that without Vijay a nagara defense of the South, India partition might have included a Southern Pakistan alongside the East and West. This book is a must- read for everyone. This book is availabe in Hindi also.
